Spring 2011 Online Registration

Spring 2011 Online Registration Begins on Monday 10/18/2010!

~Read this post before calling the School of Education with registration questions~

**IF YOU ARE IN DISSERTATION, please disregard this email and follow the directions within the Spring Registration email from Gwen Stone**

Hello Education Students,

Please register for Spring I and Spring II courses via the Student Portal. Directions for Web Registration are attached to this email. The Spring 2011 Course Schedule is available on the Education blog. As some of you may have noticed, the blog links are occasionally blocked by employer computer networks, so please register from the computer labs on campus or your home computer if this is your situation.

If the system will not allow you to register for research courses due to prerequisites, please fax a completed add/drop form to the registrar 770.407.1110 or the Education Department 770.671.0476 ATTN: SPRING Registration.

New students should contact Teshia Sims 770.407.1080 or Laura Lumpkin 770.407.1107 with registration questions.

If you are unsure of what you courses you need, please check your program requirements sheet (available here on the Ed. Blog and the 4th floor as well.) You may need to speak with your Academic Advisor. Please check the Academic Advisor List and contact them to make an appointment.

Online registration ends on 12/31/2010 at 11:59 pm

Please familiarize yourself with the Education Blog and all that it offers! Most of the questions posed to the department can be answered with a few minutes spent on the blog.

Thank you and have an excellent Spring Semester!

Attention Masters Degree Students:

A new program will be introduced Fall 2010. This program is a MAEd in Higher and Post-Secondary Education. If you are just beginning your masters program and are interested in higher & post-secondary education, it may be a good idea to review this new program. If you are new to your program, it may be an opportunity to compare your program to the new MAEd HPE to see if it peaks your interest. If you are further along in your program, there are some courses which you have taken that may be substituted for courses in the new program. Any consideration for changes must be accompanied by a meeting with the Program Chair (Dr. Marion Anders 770.407.1082 / manders@argosy.edu) or the director of the Higher Education Program (Dr. Waltrina Dufor 770.407.1149 / wdufor@argosy.edu.)

The Program of Study sheet is available here.
